The Second Departmental Triathlon Championship Taking Place
The Second Departmental Triathlon Championship is set to take place this month in the town of Saldaña. It is organized by the local government in collaboration with running clubs and cycling associations from the surrounding area. This event is open to everyone who wants to put their endurance and strength to the test in a fun and engaging way.
Course Information
The championship consists of a sprint-distance triathlon course. It will consist of a 0.75-kilometer swim, followed by 20 kilometers of cycling, and finally a 5-kilometer run.
Registration
Participants are required to register in advance by submitting an application form that can be found on the event website. The cost of registration is 25 Euros. Registration will close one week before the race day.
Prizes to Be Won
All participants will receive a commemorative medal, and the top 3 finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions will be awarded prize money.
- 1st place: 500€
- 2nd place: 300€
- 3rd place: 100€
Other Information
The race will be held on Sunday, 15th May, with the starting gun set to go off at 9:00AM.
It is recommended that participants come early to secure the best positions on the starting line.
All participants are required to wear a helmet during the cycling portion of the race.
